Explanation

So as I was looking at the new pics of me in NYC, it occured to me that not everyone knew the background of the pics. So I thought I would explain. In Nov. 2007. My sister Carey emailed the Montel Williams show. She told him the story of how we ( Carey, myself, Dustie) grew up not knowing our father. Anyway, on November 1st, 2007 the three of us flew to NYC and appeared on Montel. the show was called " Emotional Bonds/Reunions" The producers told us that they were flying us in to talk about life without our father and that we would have the chance to talk to an Investigator to aid us in the search for our father. We taped the first segment of the show and after the 1st commercial, they dropped the bomb on us. Our father was actually there in NYC at the show!! So anyway, the pic of us at the table is with our father Donnie Powell. The show aired on November 13th and re-aired on Dec 26. The updates show will air on Fri. 04/04/08. So there you have it, my 15 secs of fame!!!!

Passing Time

I can't believe the week is almost over. This week was spring break for Boise State. I took full advantage of the time, that is to say I was lazy the whole week!! Today was the first day I actually got made up and left the house, well except yesterday for a few mins to take Dustie to the doctor, but other than that, today was it! It was nice to just relax and not do anything. Of course, now I am regretting it because I have a couple of finals next week and I should have been studying. Oh well I guess I will just have to do what I do best, CRAM for the test!!!! Anyway, not too much else is going on. I went to my new ward in Nampa on Sunday. It was nice. There are a TON of young families with new babies. Hummmmm. I don't know how I feel about that, but it won't be the first time I was "odd man out" I am starting to get used to it. It is kind of trying though to be constantly surrounded by people my own age that have there lil families. makes me kind of wanna retreat to my house and not come out. Update

I thought I would post a lil update on myself. I am currently living in Idaho with Dustie and JR.
I started nursing school in Jan of this year, at Boise State University. I will graduate in May of 2009. My days are pretty busy with 6 different nursing classes, practicals, labs and clinical rotations. Someday it will all be worth it.( won't it?) That is pretty much all. I am looking forward to attending my new ward in Nampa. No news to update on the love life. It doesn't exist! Well that is all for now. Be well and happy blogging!
